Well, since parts are no longer being sold, I decided to scratch build my Radar.
I'm glad I did. It is so much more satisfying than purchasing the part. But, the
cost is about the same (or maybe even more).
I used Steve Tanner's instructions for building. I had Tap Plastics cut the circles. I cut the fins. I have not built the ears yet. The bottom picture shows the Lazy Susan from Lorenzo's collar. |
